GREAT UK BEAT/FREAKBEAT/POP/PSYCH BAND
ALL THERE MATERIAL INCLUDING DEMMOS, ACETATES ECT
The Poets were a Scottish beat and garage rock group, who were managed by Andrew Loog Oldham. Some of their singles were released on his Immediate Records label. Their cover version of "Baby Don't You Do It", was produced by Immediate in-house record producer, Paul Raven.
Musically the band's style contained elements of both the hard R&B of the early Small Faces (both bands would cover "Baby don't you do it") and The Action along with the more melodic sounds of The Kinks, The Searchers and the later period Small Faces. Visually they sported and Edwardian look similar to the early Kinks with matching velvet jackets, ruffled shirts, tight pants, Beatle Boots and shag haircuts.

I use top quality packaging materials - so all my items arrive with you, the buyer, in top notch condition.
Please note: all records are removed from their sealed packaging UNLESS REQUESTED OTHERWISE. Once removed from their packaging, they are kept in a 250g polysleeve which ensures protection. The record(s) and its sleeves are then placed between 2 stiffeners & sent in a strong card envelope. This ensures that everything arrives exactly as you’d want it to.

The time has come to reduce my record collection. The records on offer are primarily Psych, Psychedelic, Prog, Progressive, Folk, Loner, Garage, LPs from around the world that were recorded from mainly late 1960's to mid 1970’s. Collectable albums in VERRY collectable condition...Most are MINT UNPLAYED or played just once (when i purchased them id record them to DAT or CD & then put the vinyl away into storage) I have many to sell & its gonna take a while, so please check out my other items & add me to your favourite sellers . . You wont be dissapointed . . I aim to have auctions every week & aim for the bidding to end on a Sunday eve UK time (if i take time out for a week or 2 . . ill be back).
