Up for grabs is this Mega Rare live Pogues album.
The Pogues led by the unmistakable Shane McGowan, an original punk from back in the day.
After his brief stay in a mental institution, Shane was released just as Punk Rock was exploding into the nation's consciousness, he totally embraced it and soon became a regular face on the growing punk scene, he can be seen in loads of footage from the time, whether in the audience or onstage wherever punk was happening Shane was always involved.
The Nipple Erectors or Nips for short were his first attempt at being in a real happening punk band and their style of punk'a'billy was years ahead of its time, it was a great blueprint for future bands like the Stray Cats or King Kurt.
The Pogues morphed from the ashes of the Nips and due to the incredible songwriting skills of Shane McGowan they went on to achieve worldwide success with a fantastic back catalogue of work that any band would be proud to own.
This album captures the Pogues on their upward trajectory with a blistering performance that any fan can't afford to miss, I was lucky enough to see the Pogues at least a dozen times over the years and they were always stunning live, their Sheffield City Hall gig on the If I Should Fall From Grace With God tour sticks in my mind as one of the greatest gigs I have ever been too, if ever a band could sound as good as they did on record it was the Pogues.
This Record is in great condition for it's age both Vinyl and Sleeve (see photos) so don't miss it, you don't see this up for sale often.
