Description
The time has come for me to part with my collection so over the next year I will be listing some very nice LP’s.
I am not a dealer but instead a collector. I only bought nice vg++ albums or better, many in shrink.
The majority of these albums I played only a couple of times. These were a investment for me. This will be a great opportunity
for those who are looking for final copy rock records so please save me and watch for my listings. All of these were played
with a Shure M97XE cartridge/stylus. All albums will be shipped in a brand new record mailer securely packed. Thank you….
Examined 01/06/2026 . From my Private Collection - This is the ONLY one you want.
Please check my reviews for grading feedback on classics just like this.
What is an Archive Pressing?
They are simply the best sounding version of this record I have found in 25 years of collecting audiophile grade vinyl. They are the Ultimate in Analog Audio Performance. Recordings before the mid 1980's were 100% analog in the recording chain. This makes a HUGE difference in sound quality. I have compared many new remasters to the original 1st pressings and the sound quality is quite different. Digital sourcing has removed the depth of the original recording and many times makes a remaster sound flat and much less 3 dimensional. I have collected them for years for my personal collection. I search through copies of the same record (always different pressings but excellent to near mint examples) to find the best:
-Fidelity: Frequency response from Lowest Bass to the Highest Treble.
-Dynamics: Quietest passages to the loudest passages and how it matches how we hear live sound.
-Staging: Ability to separate instruments and clearly hear every detail of the music.
-Depth: 3 dimensional aspect to the music when played through a high-end 2 channel audio system.
-Quiet Background: Ability to play with no music or soft passages and NOT HEAR clicks, pops, etc.
It will excel in all of the above categories. It should be the best version of this record you have heard. I have thousands of records from my personal collection that I am now selling. Archive Pressings. Once you buy one, you will realize how much MUSIC there is in those grooves.Police - Ghost in The Machine - Nautilus Half Speed Pressing Ghost In The Machine
Record Grade: Near Mint -
Cover/Sleeve Grade: Very Good + Bottom Left corner dent. Poster Sleeve Included
Sound Quality: Audiophile level sound quality. Strong dynamics, excellent fidelity, and a very quiet background. Music erupts from a black background. Excellent depth with a 3D aspect to the music. The ultimate version of this album I have found! - Vinyl Record, CD, Tape, FLAC. If you compare this record though a properly set up turntable /cartridge with the CD, you will be AMAZED with the difference!
Notes: 1981 Nautilus Records. Half Speed Mastering 100% analog in the recording chain. Everything pictured is what comes with it. A+ sound quality! These were mastered at Half Speed which gives the needle much more information. This one sounded better than the four pressings I have. Excellent investment, It will continue to rise in value. Compare the sound quality to ANY version of this LP for the price!

I ship records out 5 times a week through USPS Media Mail unless Expedited shipping is chosen, which is First Class through USPS. Each LP in the USA is $6 . I don't ship internationally. I combine shipping for discounts.
RETURN POLICY
Because everyone has a different audio system and different expectations of what a certain record grades at, I offer a 14 day return policy. I refund you the original price of the record plus shipping you paid to me. I DO NOT PAY FOR RETURN SHIPPING. I Strive for a 5 star seller rating, so if there is an issue, please email me and I will do anything within reason to make you a customer again.
I am a collector. I grade very conservatively, as I would want all others to grade their vinyl.I want people to be happy with what they purchased and knowing what to expect goes into that.
