Description
- The Police released their second studio album "Reggatta de Blanc" in October 1979 on A&M Records. It topped the charts in the U.K. and contains the group's signature song "Message In A Bottle." The album's title loosely translates in French to "White Reggae."
- This copy (SP-4792) is from the first pressing and is in excellent condition. It is still in it's original factory shrink wrap and is easily VG+. The inner sleeve is in very good condition and only has a small piece of tape on it to hold it together where it needs to be re-glued. Please see the pictures. The disc plays cleanly and is also VG+ which is as high as I go on vintage vinyl. The dead wax on Side 1 is etched with A&M SP 4792-A-S3.
- In addition to its original packaging, this album will come with a high quality Anti-Static Round Bottom Inner Sleeve to hold the vinyl disc and a sturdy 3 mil. polyethylene Archival Quality Outer Sleeve.

- This vintage 12" vinyl album has been sitting upright on a shelf in climate controlled storage for the past 41 years. It has not been played in decades other than a quick test spin for this sale which found no skips or obvious flaws. Like all used records it should be cleaned and wiped with an anti-static brush to minimize the occasional pops that are part of playing vinyl albums. Buyers should note that this is a well-cared for but used record and it will have some minor imperfections.
