Description
THE POLICE – SYNCHRONICITY (1983)
Original US First Pressing | Factory Sealed | Audiophile KC-569 Heritage
🌟 Collector’s Overview
Offered here is an incredible time-capsule copy of The Police’s magnum opus, Synchronicity (A&M Records, 1983). This is a genuine 1983 US original first pressing, preserved in its original factory shrink wrap for over 40 years.
For audiophiles and 80s rock purists, original US first pressings of Synchronicity hold legendary status:
-
The Masterdisk / RL Cut: Mastered by iconic mastering engineer Bob Ludwig at Masterdisk.
-
Audiophile Formulation: US 1983 first runs were pressed using high-purity KC-569 / Quiex II audiophile vinyl (which reveals a translucent purple/amber hue when held to direct light), delivering ultra-quiet backgrounds and massive dynamic range.
-
Color Strip Variant: Features the classic Yellow / Blue / Red front-cover stripe variation.
-
Unplayed / Untouched: The vinyl inside has never felt a stylus or human touch.

📦 Shipping & Returns Policy
Professional Packaging-
Secure Handling: Your record will be shipped in a dedicated, heavy-duty cardboard mailer (LP or 45 specific) with extra cardboard stiffeners to prevent bending or crushing.

-
45s: 7" records are shipped with the same level of care in dedicated 7-inch mailers.
-
Handling Time: I ship within 1–2 business days of receiving cleared payment.
