Description
The Poni Tails
Hard to find rock n roll era UK Columbia 7EG 8427 girl group DOO-WOP Ep
1958
Original & a 1st pressing early G,1 & R,1 Stampers
Cat number: 7EG 8427
Side 1:
VINYL :
SIDE1:VG+
Would easily grade higher , on first look appears EX+ can’t see any marks at all under normal lighting but on very close up inspection Under daylight there is a fine sleeve whispys & a careless needle track mark visible near the end of the 2nd track born too late which causes one noticeable pop on playback
Matrix numbers : 7 TEA 812 -1N. (G,1) XT
Otherwise clarity is brilliant & this side Plays excellently loud .
SIDE 2: strong EX
VINYL just a few whispys only really visible under bright lighting
Matrix numbers: 7 TEA 813-1N (R,1) XT
Sounds great with perfect clarity virtually as issued
CENTRE LABELS:
Both torquoise Labels are unworn EX+ really lovely ..
COMPANY SLEEVE : EX-
Fully laminated sleeve is robust , Solid & retains a lot of its original gloss appearance no noticeable laminate lift . only thing is it has a small pin hole at the top centre which goes through to reverse other than that is a lovely sleeve
Shows the the odd wrinkle & fine surface wrinkle toward edges as could be expected .
Overall this is a decent copy of this rare hard to find 45 ..
playback is great & sounds fantastic apart from the one pop as mentioned towards the end of side 1 mentioned
