WELL WHAT CAN ONE SAY ABOUT THE PORTSMOUTH SINFONIA ! EVERY MEMBER TO A MAN (OR WOMAN) A CULT HERO ! ECCENTRIC is a word springs to mind. They try very , very hard is my best offer ! Bit like that band 'The Darkness' in the way that.......are they real ? Do they really mean it ? One of my favourite 70's albums was Brian Eno's 'Taking the Tiger Mountain...' album . One of the numbers on that great LP did indeed have these guys on it : ' Put A Straw Under Baby' the song. It did leave me wondering !?! On Eno's first album '...Warm Jets' he conciously favoured a piano with some 'clinkers' on it ,on 'On Some Faraway Beach'....so I sort of knew where he was coming from. So I guess if you've come here anyway: you'll know all about them. I'll ramble no further except to say this UK PRESS PHILIPS ALBUM IS EXTREMELY RARE INDEED !!!

VINYL IS EX PLUS AND LOOKS UNPLAYED ! FANTASTIC !
