On offer here is a VERY rare LP (especially in this condition!!!!) by The Pretty Things called 'The Pretty Things' and is an ORIGINAL 1965 UK 1st Pressing on the 1st Press 'Textured' Fontana label!!!! THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND!!!! THIS WAS THE PRETTY THINGS FIRST LP EVER - AND VIRTUALLY NEVER TURNS UP FOR SALE!!!! JUST TRY AND FIND ANOTHER ONE!!!! IT IS ONE OF THE RAREST PRETTY THINGS LPs EVER AND INCREDIBLY HARD TO LOCATE TODAY!!!! NOT ONLY THAT BUT IT IS THE 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESSING EVER MADE - WITH SOME AMAZING DIFFERENCES TO ALL LATER PRESSINGS!!!! AMAZINGLY, THIS LP HAS AN ULTRA RARE FLIPBACK LAMINATED COVER (LATER ONES DONT!), A 'GLOSSY' LOOK TO THE COVER BACK (LATER ONES DONT!), AND EXTREMELY LARGE 'MONO' TEXT ON THE RECORD LABELS (AGAIN, LATER ONES DONT!)!!!! EVEN THE INNER SLEEVE IS THE 'EARLIEST POSSIBLE' INNER SLEEVE - WITH AN INCREDIBLY RARE '015' DATE CODING (JANUARY 1965!)!!!! ONLY A TINY HANDFUL OF THE 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESSINGS ONLY (WAY BEFORE RELEASE!) WERE EVER MADE LIKE THIS - BEFORE THIS LP WAS IMMEDIATELY CHANGED TO THE MORE COMMON NON-FLIPBACK VERSIONS THAT FOLLOWED!!!! BUT WHAT MAKES THIS LP REALLY SPECIAL IS THAT IT IS IN ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT CONDITION!!!! AND THIS IS SIMPLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND ON THIS LP!!!! THE RECORD HAS BARELY BEEN PLAYED AT ALL AND IS IN ABSOLUTELY SUPERB CONDITION, THE INNER SLEEVE IS SIMPLY STUNNING, AND THE FLIPBACK LAMINATED COVER IS ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT!!!! JUST TAKE A LOOK AT THE PICTURES!!!! THIS IS THE ORIGINAL 1965 UK MONO 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESSING ON THE 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESS 'TEXTURED' FONTANA LABEL, 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESS 'LARGE' MONO LABEL TEXT, 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESS 1/1 MATRIX ENDINGS, 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESS INNER SLEEVE, AND 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESS FLIPBACK LAMINATED COVER!!!! THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND LIKE THIS - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS AMAZING OPPORTUNITY!!!! This is the ORIGINAL Fontana UK 1st Pressing from 1965 and is in absolutely BRILLIANT condition!!!! The record is pressed on THICK quality vinyl. The Cat. No is TL 5239 on the ORIGINAL 1st Press Fontana label (see picture) and is a UK MONO 1st Pressing!!!!
The record labels are in SUPERB condition (see pictures) with NO wear, NO writing, and barely ANY spindle marks AT ALL!!!! IT IS VERY CLEAR THAT THIS RECORD HAS BARELY PLAYED PLAYED AT ALL!!!! The vinyl is in absolutely SUPERB condition!!!! Most of these 60s LPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This one is NOT and has NO scratches, NO hairlines, only 1 absolutely ULTRA light scuffline trace, and only a VERY few of the VERY lightest paper scuffs only visible under EXTREME light!!!! ITS AS SIMPLE AS THAT!!!! THE RECORD STILL RETAINS ITS ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK AND LOOKS SUPERB!!!! It is also great to find that the record plays as STUNNINGLY as the visual with NO pops, NO sticking, NO jumps, and barely ANY crackle AT ALL!!!! The sound quality is simply SUPERB with NO distortion and NO groovewear either!!!! The record must grade Excellent+ if not better!!!! SUPERB RECORD!!!! Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!! I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!! The record also comes in its ORIGINAL 'Earliest' 1st Press inner sleeve which is in SUPERB condition!!!! The ULTRA RARE 'Earliest' 1st Press Flipback Laminated MONO Cover is in BRILLIANT condition!!!! It has NO edge wear, barely ANY spinal wear AT ALL (virtually NONE!), only slight corner wear (NOT through the colour!), only a few light creases (cover is VERY flat looking!), VERY shiny laminate, only 2 or 3 VERY small areas of laminate lifting, and NO writing!!!! The opening edge is beautifully straight with NO feathering!!!! Even the unlaminated back of the cover is in SUPERB condition with NO grubbyness, NO yellowing, NO ringwear, NO rubbing, NO flipback damage, and NO writing!!!! The cover must grade Very Good++ if not better!!!! THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND LIKE THIS - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS ULTRA RARE OPPORTUNITY!!!!
