Description

"The Pretty Things", groups first album, original 1965 UK LP on silver/black Fontana TL 5239 mono. Tracks: road runner / judgement day / 13 chester street / big city / unknown blues / mama, keep your big mouth shut / honey, i need / oh baby doll / don't lie to me / the moon is rising / pretty thing. Front laminated sleeve will grade Ex-, no main issues, no rips or tears, minor wear / crease, light aging/grime to the rear, clear legible spine. All in all a reasonable solid copy. Side one of disc will grade Vg, some light marks. However,apart from if I remember, a couple of tracks where it clicks lightly at the end of one and at the beginning of the other, the majority of any clicks or crackle are confined to between the tracks. Side two is a visual Vg+, plays well. * NB: A gentleman asked me a question today if the LP played with any skips or jumps, when I first played it I didn't notice any. However, for peace of mind I check played it tonight (12/5), there IS a very slight skip on side 2 towards the end of track 2, it's only slight but it is there. How I missed it when I first played it I don't know, all I can do is hold my hand up to it and apologise.
