ORIGINAL & RARE SINGLE-RELEASE!
Here's a heavy 'big gun' from the great UK garage-beat era of the middle-1960's!
Staccato riffing guitar chords attack the eardrums, while the rasp of the cool vocal here makes for a 'threatening' and yet feral awakening!!
GREAT stuff, and from the lable that The KINKS were also turning out some very nice garage-mod tunes (often the 'B' sides were the freakbeat gems from Ray Davies' and crew).
Alongside early WHO and CREATION beat classics, this is really a standout.
Now - this band have a colourful history really, as 'Mal' also copped them as his band for a highly-regarded rare single, and they had one other 45 in their own right before focussing mostly on the more attentative Italian market ....where they had many singles issued and an album with Mal at the mic.
This hard-edged two-sided garage gem of a single is uber-rare, a special one for collectors around the World, and definitely worth its' salt!
VERY few copies have ever turned up.
The centre has been removed and re-glued very carefully with only little speckles of glue on the spindles as evidence to show. The labels are othewise very nice.
The vinyl has many surface marks, nothing deep and therefore plays through very well thanks to a high quality pressing. Only a few crackles at the beginning and the end of each tracks.
It is unwarped and very flat and comes from my own collection.
