THE PUPILS
This was actually The Eyes using a pseudonym.
From the Ealing area of West London. The band evolved out of an outfit called The Renegades,
an instrumental combo, who, when they added a vocalist, became known as Gerry Hart and The Hartbeats.
The name change to The Eyes came during 1964.
They were also approached by Philips to record a Rolling Stones tribute album.
This was done in six hours and released under a pseudonym The Pupils.
Copies are now very rare and quite sought-after
