The Quick - Mondo Deco LP (Mercury SRM 1-1114) WITH INSERT/GOLD EMBOSSED PROMO STAMP


Stunning 1976 sole studio album from The Quick, a band that managed to bridge glitter and glam, power pop and proto-punk and who managed to demonstrate that mid-70's Kim Fowley, while still creepy as sh-t, still had something to offer in his production of this gem.

The Quick were a sort of an unofficial brother band to The Runaways in that Fowley was behind the development of both bands, both landed on Mercury in 1976 and The Quick's Billy Bizeau penned The Runaways' Queens Of Noise.

Anyhow, BRILLIANT BLISTERING POP from 1976, the band that inspired Redd Kross, The Dickies, Jellyfish and others to carry on their sparkling angular pop vision. Also, the singer sang and co-wrote "I'll Be There For You", the theme from "Friends"!

LP is MINT- to VG+/Cover is VG+ to VG (some corner dings and light shelf wear)/Lyric Sheet is MINT- to VG+.
