All items shipped securely in new record mailers, with card stiffeners, housed in new plastic sleeves with the records removed from picture sleeves to prevent seam splits.

Very rare album on the much coverted DEROY label... The 'DEROY' sound service, is known for it's large output of very small run pressings, it's main market being the production of albums of Cinema Organs, but occassionally they would be asked to put a tape-to-disc by a school, church, operatic group or maybe a folk group, obscure psych group or prog outfit... these latter being the most saught after, usually produced in runs of less than 100.

Here we have... a OFFSHORE RADIO / HISTORY / SPOKEN WORD / SOUND BITES

Where do these DEROY records disappear to for so many years?  This album is some kind of strange homage to the original off-shore radio pirates... After a short jingle, a Radio Gemini DJ introduces the album, telling us how Radio Gemini started in November 1972 which featured extracts from the various off-shore radio stations... now brings you offshore radio 1964-1968...

This is a excellent history of Off Shore radio and Fort Radio, great snippets, sound bites.... some background whistle in places, if only they had tuned the radio in a little better!   Now I've had a few great pirate radio singles and EPs in the past, and they have all been very desirable... this is a superior record to most of them... OK, there are no photo's of the ships and stations, but you can get them off the internet... some of these soundclips may now be lost forever... only available on this disc.  This is a definate long player, I haven't timed it, but this disc just goes on and on and on, more info, more sound bites, more clips...

This album has been referenced on one website concentrating on Off Shore radio discs... and I can't find any... possibly produced in a promotional quantity of less than 100 copies (no tax stamps or KT stampers), apparently was only available mail order.

The sleeve is a basic design, a folded piece of card, screenprinted with the same disign both sides, stuck together with tape along the top and bottom.
