THE RAMONES - BLITZKRIEG BOP / HAVANA AFFAIR : RARE UK PUNK 7" SIRE 6078 601
BLITZKRIEG BOP WAS NAMED AFTER THE GERMAN WORLD WAR 2 TACTIC 'BLITZKRIEG' WHICH MEANS ' LIGHTNING WAR' . THE SONG WAS MAINLY WRITTEN BY DRUMMER TOMMY RAMONE, WHILE BASSIST DEE DEE RAMONE CAME UP WITH THE TITLE ( THE SONG WAS ORIGINALLY CALLED 'ANIMAL HOP' ) DEE ALSO CHANGED ONE LINE. THE ORIGINAL THIRD VERSE HAD THE LINE 'SHOUTING IN THE BACK NOW' BUT DEE CHANGED IT TO 'SHOOT EM IN THE BACK NOW' !
VINYL - is graded VG and under strong light shows light - moderate scuffs, sleeve removal scuffs. Played through without any jumps or skips. Audio is loud and clear!
LABELS - are graded VG shows some pressing marks, smudges side B (see pictures) but print is legible.
Comes in a phonogram company sleeve VG.
A nice example of this hard to find, much sought after RAMONES 45.. Dont miss out!
