Description
THE RAMONES – I Remember You *ORIG Sire 45 DEMO?* 6078 603 (UK, Stereo, 1977)
PLEASE SEE MY OTHER ORIGINAL UK PUNK 45S (All from 1976-1979)
Here’s a rare opportunity to grab a very early Ramones original 45 – their 2nd UK single with the rarer silver Sire labels and one which looks like it could have been a demo or advance copy with an original release date sticker to the A-side (see pic).
The pic sleeve is guaranteed to be original and is in great condition for such a flimsy paper design but with the following signs of age: some light creasing and ruffling to the opening (top) edges; light label ring impression to the middle front and the rear; tiny edge nick to left side beginning to split (but very small); general soft handling and storage wear. All in one piece and with NO writing, tears, or rippling. Back flipovers still solid and glued down. Grades a proper VG+ (Very Good Plus).
The silver labels are moulded and in great shape. The sticker to the A has a date stamp of 18 Feb 1977. No damage or writing.
The vinyl shows one light scuff line to one side and some soft sleeve removal evidence when examined under strong light. Grades EX- (Excellent Minus). IT HAS BEEN CAREFULLY LISTENED TO and plays brilliantly – loud and clear audio with NO snap, ticks, clicks or pops. A very loud press too!
One of the harder original Ramones UK singles to locate and in very nice shape with demo sticker.
No reserve.
