Description

What you have here is a VERY RARE and IN DEMAND ORIGINAL 1960's US pressing of a great GARAGE / MOD / FUZZ single by THE RAVEN. A NEAR MINT ORIGINAL, AND A MUST !!!
This single has become one of the HOLLY GRAIL singles for MOD / GARAGE / PSYCH / FREAKBEAT collectors in recent years due to it's appearance on a few compilations.
What makes this copy even rarer is the fact that this is ONLY THE SECOND STOCK COPY I HAVE SEEN IN 25 YEARS, if you look at popsike all the copies that have sold have been promo copies, the reason for this is that the single DID NOT SELL WHEN IT ORIGINALLY came out in the late 60's, and only promo copies sent to radio DJ's have survived, so to find a NEAR MINT STOCK COPY is nearly impossible, WELL HERE IS ONE NEAR MINT COPY !!!
The single came out in the US on RUST RECORDS, catalogue number R-5123.
The songs are: CALAMITY JANE / NOW SHE'S GONE.
The condition of the single is: VINYL is EX++++(UNPLAYED, most others will list as Mint-), THE LABELS ARE in EX++/EX+ condition (NO WRITING, NO MARKING !!!).
THE MATRIX is machine stamped (ORIGINAL PRESSING) and is: W4KM-0298-1 A and W4KM-0299- 1 A
