“In March, 1964, an album was released on the Stateside label entitled ‘Authentic Rhythm and Blues’.  It proved very successful, so much so that a follow-up record was repeatedly asked for.

Here is that follow-up.  It is selected from the same American label, ‘Excello’, and features mainly the same artistes as on the previous record.  The music is pure R & B, and most of the titles on this record have proved to be very big sellers in the R & B field in America.  The artistes featured come from the ‘Delta’ country, a region extending from Memphis, Tennessee, along the twisting course of the Mississippi to Baton Rouge, Louisiana.  This area is rich in its production of blues artistes, and this record only proves that fact more conclusively.

Many people ask – what is rhythm and blues?  We feel that this record provides the answer”

The LP is in Good Condition with some surface marks and surface scratches

There is some static, but it doesn’t jump at all

The Sleeve is in Very Good Condition with a small amount of scuffing, slight laminate creasing and slight record rim outline.  On the back “32/=” has been pencilled in the top left hand corner and there is a small sticker stuck centre top.  Also 1 track has a tick in red against it and 2 tracks have good * written in red against them

It has been kept in a plastic cover
