When this record was recorded at Universal Studios in Chicago, June 1955, Red was working at the BEE-HIVE, one of Chicago's top jazz nite spots. He used the same side men as he was a the club. (see below). Red's rich warm trumpet solos along with his impeccable ensemble work and the culmination of his highly original way of playing makes this a highly collectible and unique record.
