Description
TITLE/ARTIST: This rare and highly sought after, 1st and only, LP is by early '60's group, The Regents, is yet another one of those records that I once thought I'd never let go --- but here it is so have at it! The LP is entitled, "Barbara-Ann" after their big hit song of the same title, is on the original, gray colored, Gee Label - and is the first and only LP ever released by this short lived group. In my opinion, this LP (both the record and jacket) is in very good condition - especially the vinyl - but please read on as they aren't quite perfect either. I will be listing other old, rare, and hard to find 45's, EP's, and LP's in my future auctions, so please check my site out from time to time - as there are hundreds more to get to yet. LABEL INFO: The original gray with black print, Gee Label (706) - the early subsiderary of Roulette Records - is super clean and nice with nothing much negative to mention at all - I don't even see that many spindle lines around the center circle, which indicates very little. VINYL INFO: Likewise, the vinyl is also very, very good - extremely shiny, clean and nice with nothing in much need of a mention either - in my opinion, the vinyl looks almost as nice as the day it was 1st purchased, but does show just 1 or 2 super light (and I do mean super light) surface/paper lines. JACKET: This LP's attractive jacket is also in really good overall condition, but not quite perfect either - as there are some signs of early and light aging especially on the backside and some very light signs of ring wear. Again, in my opinion, none of this is all that bad, but given the value and collectable status of this LP, I feel it definitely deserves mentioning. So, please view the pictures above and make your own decisions about everything. INTERESTING FACTS: This is one rare LP, and yes, in my opinion it is primarily clean and nice, not to mention how ridiculously difficult it is to find anymore, so please have at it. As always, I have not listed it with any reserve price - just free and open bidding - so good luck!. In addition, I will continue to list many other RnR/R&B LP's, EP's, and 45's by 1950-60's artists----and even some C&W LPs/45's, too. I am selling off my entire personal collection, and there are 100's more records to get to yet -- of all varieties. Many of these still to be listed records are rare and hard to find, and most all of them are in near mint shape. So, please bookmark my site and check it out from time to time. GOOD LUCK BIDDING!! If anyone ever needs more info than what is listed, please email me. I will respond! POSTAGE/HANDLING CHARGES: In the United States, the buyer agrees to pay $4.00 (Media Mail and Delivery Confirmation) for the first LP purchased, and then just $1.00 per LP after that-----so, buy in quantity and save. These are U.S. rates only, and all foreign winners will have to await an email me for their exact costs, although I will send a detailed invoice as soon as the auction is over---but, there too, it is cheaper to send multiple pieces. The charges for overseas are listed in the shipping category below--$23.00 for the 1st LP and then just $4.00 per LP after that. PLEASE NOTE: I will not be responsible for records that are lost or damaged by either US or overseas Postal Services. However, for additional fees, I will gladly ship the packages Priority Mail and/or add insurance! Please email me with either, or both, requests if this is of interest to you. Also, please continue to check out "rogersrecords" on ebay for future collectible records of all types. There are many more to come! browser does not support JavaScript.
