MINT --> Mint is Mint. It looks like it has never been played;
NEAR MINT --> Very clean with just a few light marks;
EX --> Has minor surface scratches and/or scuffs. Record will show some signs that it was played and otherwise handled by a previous owner who took good care of it. Record surfaces may show some slight signs of wear and may have slight scuffs that don't significantly affect play .
VG -->Still a enjoyable record to listen to but not perfect. Many of the defects found in a EX record will be more pronounced in a VG record. Surface noise will be evident upon playing, especially in quiet passages and during a songs intro and fadding out, but will not overpower the music otherwise. Groove wear will start to possibly be noticeable. (light scratches)Jacket will have some ring-wear, may have creases, folds, Likely has slight rounding of corners and shelf-wear on edges.
