VVAA "10 Years In 20 Minutes" LP issued by Ralph Records (RR8205-D) in USA, 1984. Edition limited to 75 numbered copies. This copy No. 49/75. ****** Rec:m- ****** One of the rarest Residents editions offered here… the impossible-to-find "10 Years In 20 Minutes" one-sided LP original edition limited to 75 copies only! Never reprinted, this is the first and only pressing of this track as an individual LP. This record is a medley of approximately 250 snippets from various records and singles that spanned the Ralph catalogue from 1972 to 1978. The Residents recorded this piece in one day by "drop the needle" with a stack of Ralph releases which were randomly selected and ordered. The resulting collage of melodies is really great and challenging the most radical listeners. The "10 Years In 20 Minutes" records is offered here as issued, with no accompanying jackets, labels, or artwork of any kind; the edition sold out within minutes through Ralph mail-order catalogue. This one-sided LP record was first presented as the 4th side of a small-run (800 copies given mostly to radio stations) promotional double LP item for Ralph's 10th birthday titled "Ralph Records 10th Anniversary Radio Special!". Offered here is the proper first and only edition of the experimental "10 Years In 20 Minutes" issued in 1984 as a clear vinyl one-sided LP limited to 75 numbered copies.
