This is an album that transcends genre.
This album requires throwing all thinking and appreciation out of the window, if even for 40 minutes, and start from scratch.
You are to look deeper than melodies, and hooks, and guitar lines and traditional uses of vocals. See the songs not as pieces, but as one coherent whole.
And finally, forget judging this accurately. Yeah it sounds corny and cheap, but really, this album can't be held up against anything else. It is truly experimental in a way that most albums that are called experimental aren't. It's hard to listen to once and think of an accurate rating. Give it at least two tries, see whether you'll like it or not.
