Description

THE RETURN OF THE DURUTTI COLUMN SANDPAPER LP 2025 LIMITED EDITION OF ONLY 500 COPIES MADE. THIS IS No.273 of 500. NEW AND SEALED. 45TH ANNIVERSARY EDITION on 140gm black vinyl. No sleeve is the same: outer sleeve is 300gsm single sided board with a 60 grit sandpaper adhered to both faces. The sandpaper positioning is deliberately offset to reveal areas of the sleeve to the far right open edge, following archive copies. "FACT 14" catalogue number hand-stenciled with black spray paint to the front cover either in the bottom right, centre or lower middle quadrants following the arbitrary position of the original sleeves. The lettering copies the letter spacing of original sleeves. The original sleeve stencil would have been cut by hand and this is reflected in the uneven spacing of the letters and numerals. Inner sleeve is printed in 4 colours on a 140gsm uncoated paper. The album is presented in a clear flexible plastic envelope with a flap closure which differs from original flexible plastic sleeves that opened to the head of the sleeve only.
