THE REVIVAL - I Wish It Would Rain b/w Chose to Sing The Blues
ULT 68016-A / ULT 68016-B
1968 (?) private label 45 RPM 7” recorded at Ultra-Sonic Recording Studios in Hempstead, NY (Long Island), famous for having recorded INNA-GADDA-DA-VIDA by Iron Butterfly in 1968 (and also my high school stage band in 1971!)
The number on label, 68016, may indicate year. Also, I Wish It Would Rain, listed as A side on this record, was released by The Temptations near the end of 1967.
This is a real unknown treasure. I can find no mention of it online!
A side is a cover of The TEMPTATIONS song “I Wish It Would Rain”.
B side is a cover of the RAY CHARLES song “I Chose to Sing The Blues”, which was released in 1965.

CONDITION
DISC (Visual grading) = VG. Disc is glossy but has light marks and smudges. Slight warp, not affect play.
DISC (Aural Grading) = VG+. Light background noise, mostly just audible at beginning of tracks.
LABELS = VG++
