"A Manchester-based mod band whose singles veered towards soul for the most part, the exception being Go, Go Children, the flip to their debut 45 which was really an amalgam of soul and experimental beat music.

This band featured a young John Verity as vocalist who was born in Bradford, Yorkshire on 3rd July 1949. He grew up there and played in various local bands between 1961 - 68. After Richard Kent Style (between 1967 - 69), he was in Tunnell (1969 - 70) before forming his own John Verity Band (1970 - 74).

Compilation appearances include: Go Go Children on Yellow Elektric Years (LP) and Echoes From The Wilderness - Sixteen UK R&B Freakbeat Trippers. (LP & CD)."
