Release date: 14th February 1980.  Recording date: 1979.

On offer here is an EXTREMELY RARE original issue of the second release (independent 7”) by THE RIPTIDES, if you do not include the initial release of the “Sunset Strip” EP under their original name, THE NUMBERS.  “Tomorrow’s Tears” is an impressive slice of 1960s-styled R&B pop and the band appeared on Countdown to promote the single.  It was released on Valentine’s Day in 1980.
