Description
Up for auction is a vinyl 12" lp from THE ROLLING STONES for the extremely rare album 'A Special Radio Promotional Album In Limited Edition. Not For Sale'
This album was obviously meant for radio stations only and was supposedly sent/ pressed to 200 copies in the US.
This is a US pressing on blue London labels.
Album released in 1969. In addition to this album being a nice primer of the Stones for radio, it has become famous for including the first known issue/ then unreleased of "Love In Vain".
This is an original US Pressing from 1969 and is not a later issue of any kind! Guaranteed to be 100% authentic (and has the tell- tale signs of it obviously being a radio station copy too:)
Condition:
Vinyl is in VG (Very Good) visual grade condition with a several mostly light surface scratches.
Album Cover shows lots of wear, in generally poor condition, with lots of tape/tape residue from tape placed from radio station, ringwear, and edge/corner wear.
The seams are split apart all the way around and it has been semi-mended with clear tape.
