Description
The Rolling Stones fourth lp titled “aftermath” decca lk 4786 mono.released 1966.matrix information side 1 xarl-7209-1b side 2 xarl-7210-1a.earliest matrix numbers.comes with original inner sleeve.the 1st pressing front laminated sleeve is made in england by Robert stance.the front has a purple shadow around aftermath words on front cover.also more darker purple than other ones.the rear of the cover has a wider laminate fold over from the spine and text mono and lk4786 on back rights hand corner is different from other covers.other covers have all the wording on the one line where this one is different with catalogue number below word mono.i have supplied a few pictures of the shadow cover next to the standard cover to show the clear difference.it is reported that the shadow cover was online on sale for a short time and then deleted and replaced with the standard cover.now for the condition... the record is graded as very good with a few light surface marks under bright light.inner sleeve has no seam splits ect.the rare withdrawal front laminated shadow cover is graded as very good.a few laminate creases andy general aging to rear but a solid sleeve with no writing or seam splits.wording on spine fully readable.a chance to own a decent copy of this rare withdraw first pressing.good luck if bidding
