THE ROLLING STONES
"BETWEEN THE BUTTONS"

UK *MONO * pressing of their great 60's LP on the deep-groove unboxed Maroon DECCA ffrr label LK.4852 

Matrix numbers: XARL-7644-5A & XARL-7645 5A (I'm not sure at what point Mono pressings started, the demand was mainly for Stereo copies at the time)

RARE!! 

Rear sleeve cartoon is a little 'pointed' prod at reviewers and their repute by the mainstream media. 
They were rolling out the hit singles by this time, yet NO 45 tracks were on this, making it a record primarily aimed at their more devout fans wanting a fulfilled album to spend time listening to. It's ALL composed by Jagger/Richard for a first time - which was inadvertently widening a rift between the 2 and Brian Jones....who was previously the protagonist, leader, and creator of the band.

They were now huge with American audiences.

VINYL IN VISUALLY NEAR MINT CONDITION, It is hard to find ANY mark under a bright desk lamp.
It's the best I've seen - a spectacular copy!

Classic MAROON LABLES with SILVER TEXT are bright, there's a little pen that might be cleaned up, but it's not too obtrusive.

SINGLE SLEEVE FRONT-LAMINATED COVER in EXCELLENT CONDITION, no discolouration on the rear but a little writing.
A VERY DECENT COPY overall - see photos!

Definitely a scarce and highly collectible lp edition of a highly regarded release.
