This year its The Rolling Stones and their 60's Decca releases. These arent my "ultimate upgraders" they are locked away and I'm pretty sure some grandchild or other will get their sticky mits on them one day, but nice clean original copies mostly in EX+ condition. GRADING/CONDITION DISC(s)TOP EXCELLENT+ (GREAT RECORD BLACK and VERY SHINY with TRACE playwear and MINIMAL surface handling and storage marks , and MINIMAL ageing. PLAYS GREAT WITH A WONDERFUL UNCLUTTERED DECCA MONO REPRODUCTION.

SLEEVE Front board.Inner gatefold EXCLEAN SLEEVE with NO writing rips tears stickers or remains: Front laminate is unworn and unmarked with VERY LIGHT ring or pressure marking and a few small light laminate "thumbnail" type creases next to the opening.
Rear Board EX- REAR white board is clean with some general ageing and handling, mainly around the opening Flipbacks N/A N/A Spine EX Spine is complete with clear and complete lettering, and a handful of amall laminate cracks Top & front edges EX Top & Bottom edges have LIGHT wear only Opening VG+ Opening haslight usage, some light wear and a small nick to the rear card about 1/3 from the top Corners EX ALL Corners have light wear only INNER /EXTRASN/A
DETAILSThe Rolling Stones at their finest. A year after their first real masterpiece ("Aftermath", 1966, in which for the first time all compositions are from Jagger and Richards), they release another one, but this time it's cooler and it has a superb smooth sound. It's one of these few albums in rock history that you listen to it from start to finish. Every song here is a diamond. They don't have a genuine "rock" feeling, they're mostly pop songs, but mature pop. The rock 'n' roll and blues sounds are left behind, and the band explores new territory here. It wouldn't last though, since in their next album they went psychedelic ("Their Satanic Majesties Request"), and after that things would get more serious with "Beggar's Banquet" and "Let It Bleed".
