This is the original issue 45. It was an excellent version of a Chuck Berry composition - and indeed a good rollicking version! The flip was penned by Willie Dixon and was an original Muddy Waters number.
It's their FIRST release ever, and.... the start of something BIG, that kept on rolling until today.
Notably there's a certain naivety about this, as they'd only been seen around in London, and mostly as a residential outfit playing in one particular pub!
After this got them a little more attention they handed over that gig to The Yardbirds - who also became managed by the recently 'gazumped' Stones caretaker Giorgio Gomelsky. Andrew Oldham took over, a sly entrepreneur who focused on their image, shifting pianist Ian Stewart out of sight and getting them in 'uniform' suits!
When The Beatles became fans they got the next single written for them and it basically kept them on the scene - 'I Wanna Be Your Man' gained more attention.
This historic single is significant and definitely of investment quality, only destined to grow in value.
A rare and collectible single - incidentally housed in a rather nicely made black and white home-made paper sleeve (see photos).

CONDITION;
The VINYL, grades EXCELLENT - the sound is loud and clear
NO scratches or any issues.

Labels are EX having lightest sign of play.

The made-up cover is included, and is in excellent condition, as a free additional bonus.
