Hello and welcome to one of my auctions! I am a record collector for over 15 years now and I think it’s about time to sell a couple records to make some room and pass it on to another collector. This week’s auctions feature my rare Beatles, Beatles Related and Rolling Stones records that are from my own personal collection, so here we go!
On offer, an extremely rare U.K. MONO EXPORT pressing of The Rolling Stones – Flowers on the RED UNBOXED and GROOVED Decca label, cat. no. LK 4888.
The record is in VG+ condition, there are some non-sounding hairlines and a couple non-sounding marks. I have test played this record and it plays great with only a little background noise and an occasional click and pop. The labels are in VG+ condition as well, there are a couple spindle marks and some slight wear along the spindle holes.
The cover is in VG condition, there is a some water damage along the top and bottom seam, there are some folds on both front and back and there are initials written in very small biro in the top left hand corner on the back. All in all, there is some light damage to this cover, but in my opinion, it still looks very presentable..
The record comes with an original 1960’s Decca inner sleeve (with IMPORTANT, THE RECORD and THE EQUIPMENT text), which is in VG condition. There is a seam split of approx. 7 centimetres and the corners have “dog-ears”.
This is an almost impossible to find U.K. UNBOXED MONO EXPORT pressing of the Rolling Stones’ Flowers album. Although not mint, this copy is still very decent, where most copies went to wild parties and were played to death. And as you probably know, mint copies of this MONO Flowers album are going for 800 GBP or more at this moment! So, this is a very rare opportunity to own an impossibly rare Rolling Stones Export only album for a descent price, a real opportunity for all Rolling Stones fans to complete a life time collection!
