Description
Hello and welcome to one of my auctions! I am a record collector for over 15 years now and I think it’s about time to sell a couple records to make some room and pass it on to another collector. This week’s auctions feature my 60’s beat and psych and some 70’s progressive records that are from my own personal collection, so here we go!
On offer, an extremely rare U.K. STEREO EXPORT pressing of The Rolling Stones – Flowers on the BLUE UNBOXED and UNGROOVED Decca label, cat. no. SKL 4888.
The record is in VG+++ condition, there are a few non-sounding hairlines and a faintly visible, but non-sounding line on side 1. The labels are in VG+ condition, there are a couple spindle marks and there is a tiny sticker with the previous owner’s name on side 1. The matrix endings on this record are 1W / 1W.
The cover is in VG+ condition, there is a small sticker tear in the bottom section of the back and there is some wear in the bottom left hand corner, also on the back. The front looks in EX condition to me. Besides these mentioned defects, this cover is very decent, no writing or other damage.
The record comes with an original late 1960’s Decca STEREO inner sleeve (with the blue border on both sides), which is in VG condition. Besides a little age browning and a couple creases here and there, there is a sticker tear in a top corner (I don’t know if it’s the front or the back) and there are two tiny tears along the die cut hole. Besides these mentioned defects, this inner sleeve still looks very presentable.
This is an extremely rare U.K. UNBOXED STEREO EXPORT pressing of the Rolling Stones’ Flowers album. Although not mint, this copy is still very decent, where most copies went to wild parties and were played to death. This is a very rare opportunity to own a very rare Rolling Stones Export only album, a real opportunity for all Rolling Stones fans to complete a life time collection! Happy Bidding!
