DUE TO A NON-PAYING BIDDER, I HAD TO RELIST THIS ITEM! PLEASE DO NOT BID IF YOU DON'T HAVE THE INTENTION TO BUY IT!Hello and welcome to one of my auctions! I am a record collector for over 15 years now and I think it’s about time to sell a couple records to make some room and pass it on to another collector. This week’s auctions feature my rare Beatles, Beatles Related and Rolling Stones records that are from my own personal collection, so here we go!
On offer, an extremely rare U.K. STEREO EXPORT pressing of The Rolling Stones – Flowers on the BLUE UNBOXED Decca label, cat. no. SKL 4888.
The record is in VG+ condition, there are some non-sounding hairlines and a couple non-sounding marks. I have test played this record and it plays great. It is a common fact that these old Decca pressings can take a lot of damage and still play very well. The labels are in VG+++ condition, there are only a couple spindle marks. The matrix endings on this record are 1W / 1W.
The cover is in VG+ condition, there is a small sticker tear mark above Brain’s head on the front, there are some tiny creases along the spine and on the back there is some light wear on the opening edge and some very slight ring wear is coming through. Besides mentioned small defects, there is no serious damage to this cover.
The record comes with an original 1960’s Decca inner sleeve (with IMPORTANT, THE RECORD and THE EQUIPMENT text), which is in VG++ condition. Besides a little age browning, there is some handling wear and there are some creases in the corners. To me, this inner sleeve still looks very presentable.
This is an extremely rare U.K. UNBOXED STEREO EXPORT pressing of the Rolling Stones’ Flowers album. Although not mint, this copy is still very decent, where most copies went to wild parties and were played to death. This is a very rare opportunity to own a very rare Rolling Stones Export only album, a real opportunity for all Rolling Stones fans to complete a life time collection! Happy Bidding!
