Hello and welcome to one of my auctions! I am a record collector for over 15 years now and I think it’s about time to sell a couple records to make some room and pass it on to another collector. This week’s auctions feature my spare beat and progressive music records that are from my own personal collection, so here we go!
On offer, an extremely rare U.K. STEREO EXPORT pressing of The Rolling Stones – Flowers on the BLUE UNBOXED and UNGROOVED Decca label, cat. no. SKL 4888.
The record is in VG condition, there are some non-sounding hairlines and there are two small sounding scratches. One is at the start of “Let’s Spend the Night Together”, the other one is about halfway through the song “Back Street Girl”. The labels are in VG+ condition, there are some spindle marks and there is some very slight wear along the spindle hole on side 2. The matrix endings on this record are 1W / 1W.
The cover is in VG condition, the back cover has some water damage marks along the top and bottom and there is a price sticker in the top left corner also on the back. there is a small sticker tear in the bottom section of the back and there is some wear in the bottom left hand corner, also on the back. Besides these mentioned defects, this cover is very decent, no writing or other damage.
The record comes with an original late 1960’s Decca STEREO inner sleeve (with the blue border on both sides), which is in VG condition. Besides a little age browning and a couple creases here and there, this inner sleeve still looks very presentable.
This is an extremely rare U.K. UNBOXED STEREO EXPORT pressing of the Rolling Stones’ Flowers album. Although not mint, this copy is still very decent, where most copies went to wild parties and were played to death. This is a very rare opportunity to own a very rare Rolling Stones Export only album, a real opportunity for all Rolling Stones fans to complete a life time collection! Happy Bidding!
