This is an original DECCA 1969 first, VERY VERY FIRST 1A 1A MONO PROMO pressing of what is so highly  regarded by so many as the highest point THE ROLLING STONES ever reached in terms of making THE complete  ROCK ALBUM. And I think they achieved it.  This very pressing is regarded by the worlds hardest collectors as the UKs first ever PROMO LP. The Rolling Stones LP entitled PROMOTIONAL LP worth upwards of £6000.  Is the first Promo LP ever released in the UK by a record company. But it was promoting an ENTIRE back catalogue .  This is the FIRST UK promo LP to ever Promote a single LP . IE . This is the earliest pressing 1A1A promoting the very same LP LET IT BLEED. Even after this, although promo LPs were everywhere in the US after  1962. Promo LPs never existed as we know them in the UK until 1973. So if you have ever wondered why you have never seen a UK Promo LP of Hendrix ,the Beatles, Ziggy Stardust or anyone else that pre dates 1973 that is why. Chronologically it  can not exist. The 1A1A matrix numbers of Let it Bleed were pressed FIRST in numbers not exceeding 200. Each was issued  with the posters that came with the stock copies but also with this PROMO catalogue full of rare pictures and info on past releases. These 1A1A pressings were sent to radio stations to promote the Stones new LP. Only the VERY, VERY FIRST run of records pressed bare this ultra rare 1A matrix to BOTH side 1 and side 2 of the  LET IT BLEED LP. Dig out your own copy even if you bought it on the day of its release. If it has a matrix different  to 1A 1A it is a later pressing. Here is this rare item in dream condition. The original RED MONO LONDON BACH QUIRE inner sleeve is present  and in excellent condition. The mention of the London Back Quire was missing from later pressings.The ORIGINAL  DECCA POSTER of the band is present and in MINT condition NO PIN HOLES NO TAPE MARKS this poster has never been hung. The only creases it has are the manufacturers folds. The Front laminated sleeve has only the  smallest amount of ring ware.It bares the sticker on the front saying poster inside etc also in excellent condition. All the spinal writings are crystal clear the sleeve I would grade as EXCELLENT. As you can see also present is the  IMPOSSIBLE TO LOCATE PROMO CATALOGUE also in EXCELLENT order. I cant say mint because it has 2 small hairlines about 10mm long that have no baring on the playing of this great LP. It shimmers when tilted towards the light and has the highest luster sheen possible. It looks like new. I test played this record with my most critical ear. I can find no faults at all. NOTHING. Sometimes in the deadwax between recordings you can hear very slight static coming through the arm and needle.That is it. Its flawless in its playing. LOUD AND BOLD AND CRYSTAL CLEAR. BEAUTIFUL. I have owned many copies of this record over the years. Nothing.NOTHING compares to this. This is as good as it gets. A penny start and NO RESERVE.
