The Rolling Stones LiveR Than You'll Ever Be

This is an interesting one.  Most Stones fans will know about this famous bootleg album of live recordings of their concert in Oakland in November 1969.  The history of the album is well documented on Wikipaedia and I won't rehash it here.
Such was the popularity of the original album that a number of copies were made and I believe there are over 20 versions of the LP from different sources, each with their own labels and run-off matrixes to help with identification -  bootlegs of a bootleg if you like.
This copy has plain black labels and no matrix information at all so I can't offer any clue as to its provenance except that it has the same plain white cover and black stamped title on the front as the original.
It was bought by my brother when he was a student in Oxford in 1970. At the time Oxford had many excellent record shops and he used to buy records as soon as they were released so this is likely to have been quite an early version.  Maybe someone out there knows?  If so I'd be interested to hear.
It's in excellent condition still.  I've started the bidding nice and low because of the uncertainty.

  • The vinyl is in excellent condition with a very few slight scuff marks.
  • The sleeve is in excellent condition with minimal edge and corner wear.  
  • The plain black labels are clean with slight spindle track marking.
  • The poly-lined is undamaged but slightly tanned with age.

All my records are posted in LP mailers with cardboard stiffeners.
