The Rolling Stones - Love You Live *Sealed LP*

For auction is the Love You Live album by the Stones in absolutely beautiful condition. The short story of this record is just as Rock N Roll as the Stones themselves. The artwork of the cover was designed by Andy Warhol. The pencil smears were later added by Jagger to the surprise of Warhol. The concert from the second lp almost didn't happen because a friend of Richards got busted in Toronto with copious amounts of drugs. The album is dedicated to Keith Harwood who was an audio engineer for the Stones that had died in a drug related car accident. "Those Whom The Gods Love Grow Young".  The first disc was recorded during US tour of Summer '75 and the Tours Of Europe '76. The second disc is an Blues rock revue that was done at the El Mocambo night club in Toronto. They performed under the name "The Cockroaches" and opened for April Wine. So ticket holders were blown away when they got to see the Stones do Muddy, Wolf and wrap it up with Sympathy for the Devil. The reason for the diversity in tracks is because Jagger and Richards were fighting at the time. So they made a double disc to appease both parties. To borrow from David Allan Coe "If that ain't Rock N' Roll, I'll kiss your a**"! 

 This LP was released in 1977 on Rolling Stones Records COC 2 - 9001. The last recording that Warner Brothers would distribute worldwide. This is a First Pressing Original from the United States with No Barcode.  This LP is sealed and unopened. These rarely come up for auction in this condition.

Near Perfect (Nothing's Perfect) copy!!! Clean Cover, No discoloration of cover, Strong Corners, Defined Spine, No Seam Splits,  No Cut Outs, No Punch Holes, Breather Holes in Shrink. Awesome Condition for a 37 year old record, Keeper Copy!!!

CONDITION

Vinyl = Mint Sealed

Picture Sleeve / Cover = NM three slight creases. two on the bottom, one on the top. Not even noticeable unless you are looking hard.

GRADING SYSTEM

Mint = Only reserved for Sealed records or store stock new 45s. 10/10 Top Copies

Near Mint =  The record may have been played once or twice on good equipment. Near Mint vinyl should sound and look New when dust is cleaned off and the records played with a properly aligned cartridge and good needle. A Near Mint cover should be one that either looks new or still has the shrink wrap on it. Near Mint is usually reserved for record collectors that don't mind spending premium in order to get the best quality copy of a recording. 9 out of 10

Excellent = 8 out of 10 A record should have maybe one blemish such as fingernail or scuff on the surface that does not affect play. It should be veiwed as Near Mint to most collectors, but for the super picky collector such as myself that check them with a 100 watt light bulb before it ever gets played, it is veiwed as 8/10.

Very Good ++ = 7 Out of 10. A VG++ record may have a few blemishes on each side and will still play with High Fidelity.

Very Good + = VG+ is a grade that I use for most lps that have been played a handful of times with care. It may have one or two scratches (should not be feelable with finger) that DO NOT affect play or some sleeve scuffs from being pulled and played. When put on your record platter a VG+ record should sound great. There should not be overwhelming background noise (when properly cleaned). Pops and Skips from deep scratches are unacceptable.  You should be able to listen to a VG+ record time and time again and not have to worry about damaging it because its not in top collectable shape anyway. 6 out of 10

Very Good =   A vg record has been played numerous times or not stored properly, such as party records that were stacked on top of each other instead of being returned to the inner sleeve. These should play with background noise but will not hurt your needle. Don't be afraid of surface scratches, your stylus takes the same beating every time it crosses the matrix numbers in the trail off. I do not sell vg unless its really rare. 5 out of 10 

Remember to achieve this sound quality you need to have your equipment properly set up. Never put too much weight on your stylus, 1.5 grams is sufficient for most turntables.
