This auction is for an opened but never played Mobile Fidelity Sound Labs Rolling Stones Collection MFSL RC-1. This entire package is in mint to near mint condition.This has been stored either on my record shelf or in the closet since the early 1980's. The box shows very slight signs of ware and I've tried to photograph it as well as possible. The only real fault is that Geo Disk box edge is imperfect on the crease which my be hard to see in the photo but is about an inch or two long. This is an opprotunity to get a new set out of the carton for less than the 2 or 3 thousand these go for them unopened. Each record was pressed from a Master Stamper at the Victor Company of Japan (JVC) on Super Vinyl at half speed. Super Vinyl is such a pure virgin vinyl that you can hold any of the albums up to light and see through them!! This set contains a hand signed and numbered Certificate of Authenticity. Though this set was opened THE ALBUMS HAVE NEVER BEEN PLAYED! There are 11 albums in this collection. Each individual LP is enveloped in an anti-static, anti-abrasive “rice paper” sleeve. The sleeved records are enclosed in a stiff insert board, supplying protection against breakage and warping. These are then inserted into a custom designed LP jacket. Also with this set is a special booklet featuring exact photographic reproductions of the original album cover art, including a holographic cover. The complete LP packages are filed and catalogued in a plastic divider rack and are then stored in the sturdy and luxurious library presentation case. I still have ALL the original shipping materials and will repackage in them and then double box for shipping. Please see in the photo that the brown cardboard outer box and the foam wrapping are worn. The box set includes a GEO-DISC precision turntable cartridge alignment system. The Geo-DISC enables you to easily align your turntable’s cartridge to within 3/1000th’s inch accuracy for optimum playback performance. The GEO-DISC has also never been used.
