SLEEVE: VG
The front of the sleeve is fantastic. Unlike many early Stones records the sleeve is not a mess of laminate creases (although there are a couple). There is some creasing at the bottom left corner where the sleeve may have been bent slightly in the past. The spine is fantastic with a single un-yellowed break near the bottom of the spine and remote from any of the spine text. The spine has not been flattened meaning that all text is legible and clear. Unfortunately the rear of the sleeve shows some staining where it appears that some water may have been spilled in the past. This affects the right hand portion of the rear of the sleeve. If it were not for this the sleeve would grade as EX.
RECORD: EX-
Under bright light the record shows a couple of superficial sleeve removal marks and a couple of hairlines. The record retains its deep gloss obviously only having been played a minimal number of times. The record plays with occasional static crackle that may be removable with a thorough clean. A fantastic listen and a record that is really hard for me to let go.
The above record grading is based on Record Collector magazine system:
MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.
EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
IF YOU DISAGREE WITH MY GRADING (Which is hope is very unlikely) PLEASE CONTACT ME BEFORE LEAVING FEEDBACK.
Records shipped in dedicated record mailer with stiffener.
Postage costs (Please contact for specific country if not listed):
U.K - £3.70
US - £6.70
Europe - £4.20
Rest of the world - £6.70
I calculate postage using the Royal mail postage calculator. I charge an extra 50p for packing materials as i buy specialist record mailers and stiffeners. Sometimes records cost less to mail than i expect. In these cases i try to refund the difference. However, as I mail a number of records at one time i occasionally lose track of who paid what postage for which record. RATHER THAN LEAVING LESS THAN 5 STAR FEEDBACK, IF YOU HAVE BEEN OVERCHARGED FOR POSTAGE PLEASE CONTACT ME AND I WILL IMMEDIATELY REFUND YOU THE DIFFERENCE.
NO QUIBBLE FULL MONEY BACK GAUARANTEE IF YOU ARE UNHAPPY WITH YOUR PURCHASE!
