The Rolling Stones No. 2 (12” LP)
This is the second studio album by the English rock band the Rolling Stones, released on 15 January 1965 following the success of their 1964 debut album, The Rolling Stones. It contains three compositions from the still-developing Mick Jagger/Keith Richards songwriting team, with all the other songs being covers of American R&B and rock and roll numbers, similar to the first album. A huge hit in the UK upon release, The Rolling Stones No. 2 spent 10 weeks at Number one in early 1965, becoming one of the year's biggest sellers in the UK.

The album is on Decca Records, LK 4661. Matrix side one: XARL-6619-1A   1   KT   N G (stamped). Matrix side two: XARL-6620-1A   2 B   KT   N I (stamped).

Condition: (as Record Collector’s grading system)
Vinyl side 1: excellent (has the odd light superficial mark that does not affect the audio in any way, plays great with no jumps, sticks or clicks and minimal crackle).
Vinyl side 2: very good (has the odd noticeable superficial mark [see photo] that does not affect the audio in any way, plays excellent with no jumps, sticks or clicks and minimal crackle).
Cover (front laminated, paste-on back): good (a few laminate creases mainly around the edges and near opening edge, laminate lift and coming away at spine edge, light crease top left, aging and “foxing" back).
I have tried to give my honest opinion as to the condition. I will give a complete refund to the buyer if they are not happy with the record on its return.

RECORD COLLECTOR GRADING SYSTEM:
MINT: I very rarely use the mint grade. Only records that are still sealed or records that even under the strongest of lights are completely unmarked. Also covers that are unmarked/uncreased in any way and still look brand new.
EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is no lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.
FAIR: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.
POOR: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.
BAD: The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler.  1736 (GS 9.9.5 (1736))
