Description

Hi, I am a private collector selling part of my collection.
I will use visual and audio gratings. I have been a collector for many years and know how disappointing it is to receive a record that has not been properly graded. I hope to be very accurate as regards the audio as well as giving details of any hairlines/scratches on the vinyl. I will use the Record Collector Grading System and supplement this with additional information.  Every record is play tested on my Linn LP12. In the unlikely event that you are not happy with a purchase i offer a 'Returns Accepted' guarantee. (Buyer pays return postage). I will post worldwide and intend to only charge what it costs to package and post the item to the address.  Please wait for my invoice or contact me in advance of bidding.  All records will be posted in proper secure record mailers with the record separated from the cover and using cardboard stiffeners for extra security. Thank you
The record for sale is Out of our heads' by The Rolling Stones. Catalogue number SKL4733 This is a stereo record and is on the DECCA  'UNBOXED ' labels. 'Out of our heads' was released on the 24th September 1965 The matrix numbers are: Side one: ZAL - 6973 - 1W Side two: ZAL - 6974 - 1W
The record is very close to mint condition. There are some harmless inner sleeve lines when viewed in strong light. I took a careful play test on my Linn LP12. The audio will not be bettered. So I will grade the vinyl visually as NEAR MINT and the audio as MINT.
The front laminated cover 'Printed in England by Robert Stace' is very close to mint condition. There are no handling or other marks of any kind. There is the tiniest corner bump on the reverse (top left). I cannot really see any other faults.  Really I am just looking  to find  fault when really it is as perfect as you could wish for. The front is very glossy and the back is very clean. The spine with the 'pinched' endings is perfect. Looks like this cover was made yesterday and not 52 years ago. I grade the cover MINT -
The labels are superb. There are no spindle traces on side 1 and only one on side 2. There are a couple of tiny pressing marks on the side 2 label close to the spindle hole as seen in photo 9c I grade side 1 label as MINT and side 2 label as NEAR MINT.
The inner sleeve is EXCELLENT with just some naturally formed creases.
Good luck in bidding on this superb near faultless stereo copy of Out of our heads' by The Rolling Stones.
