THE ROLLING STONES OUT OF OUR HEADS WORLD RECORD CLUB AUSTRALIAN ONLY 1965 RELEASE ULTRA RARE This is the 3rd Stones LP released on the 24/9/65 the album was #1 in the US and #2 in the UK.With this LP The Stones revealed that they could write classic rock singles that used the R&B/blues music styles they loved but were done in guitar based mid-60's sound.There are 4 original Stones tracks on the Lp and the other 8 are covers of 60's soul songs.This is the UK release track listing not the US release.
This album was released exclusively by the Australian World Record Club, and was only available to members through mail order , copies of this album are now very hard to find.The front cover photo is a sepia tone photo that was only used on the World Record Club release of this album.This album was never available in record shops.The album is in very good condition, i test played it on a Bose system and the album played all the way through with no skips,jumps or bumps.There are light surface scratches and scuffs but it doesn't affect the sound or listening pleasure.There is some slight surface noise on the lead in, between tracks and on the runout.the cover is in excellent condition with only minimal ring wear.The label on side 2 has a slight scuff where someone has tried to erase writing but no label information has been damaged.This album with the unique cover was only available in Australia and is one of the rarest Rolling Stones covers and quite collectable.
