Description
Sticky Fingers is the ninth British and 11th American studio album by English rock band The Rolling Stones, released in April 1971. It is the band's first album of the 1970s and its first release on the band's newly formed label, Rolling Stones Records, after having been contracted since 1963 with Decca Records in the UK and London Records in the US. It is also Mick Taylor's first full-length appearance on a Rolling Stones album, the first Rolling Stones album not to feature any contributions from founding guitarist Brian Jones and the first one on which Mick Jagger is credited with playing guitar.
Vinyl Condition Mint to excellent
I can see no evidence of scratches, scuffing, hairlines, bagrash, or blemishes it is in beautiful condition.
Cover / Sleeve Mint to excellent
A very slight crease at the top of the zip
Subjective
The first thing you notice about it is its thickness and heavy weight . This early press vinyl is in superb condition, it is really is a beautiful looking record and retains all of its deep mirror-like lustre and shine and has no apparent groove-wear.
Playing:
This plays beautifully, with none of the crackle/pops sometimes associated with this pressing.
Playing on my system I don’t think it has any hissing, jumps, skips, between track crackle and nasty loud pops that is sometimes common with this record.
History
It has been in my collection since new and only played a few times from new (to record to tape). I recently played it again, the tracks I listened to played through without a sound.
Picture shows the actual item(s) you will receive (not a stock photo).
I am not a record collector or dealer,
this album was part of a collection compiled in my youth
