THE ROLLING STONES 'STICKY FINGERS' COC 59100 A4/B3 UK 1971 LP RECORD

Classic original 1971 UK LP pressing of Sticky Fingers and featuring the unique metal zipper on the famous Andy Warhol designed jeans cover.

The record has the words T.M.L Rolling Stones Records in run off groove together with the matrix numbers A4/B3 and features the top loading design confirming that this is the original issue.

Condition:

The record has quite a few minor surface marks (nothing you can feel) but plays fine although there is a fair bit of crackle evident in parts especially in the quieter music sections. Overall it sounds fine and there are defnitely no skips or jumps as it plays perfectly. The cover does not unfortunately include the original tounge insert. The LP of course has a real metal zipper which is is intact and works really well.

Within Australia payment can be made by Direct Deposit, money order or by Paypal. Overseas payments must be made by Paypal unless prior arrangement is made with the seller.

Shipping

Within Australia postage is $9 by regular Australia post parcel mail and usually takes from 3 - 7 business days depending on location. Overseas shipping is by Airmail and is calculated at the end of the auction.  Successful bidders who live outside Australia please wait for an email invoice before paying. Questions about shipping from overseas buyers are welcome however it is recommended that you email me before bidding.

Returns

All the items I sell are backed by my returns policy. If the item is not as described or varies significantly from the auction description then I will refund the total amount including return postage provided the item is returned within 14 days of receipt by the buyer.

The item that is being returned must also be in the same condition as when it was sent by the seller to qualify for a refund being issued.

Record Collector UK Magazine Condition Gradings

MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.

EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.

FAIR: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump.
The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.

POOR: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.

BAD: The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler.

CDs & As a general rule, CDs and cassettes either play perfectly — in CASSETTES: which case they are in Mint condition — or they don't, in which case their value is minimal. Cassette tape is liable to deteriorate with age, even if it remains unplayed, so care should be taken when buying old tapes. CDs are difficult to grade visually: they can look perfect but actually be faulty, while in other cases they may appear damaged but still play perfectly. Cassette and
CD inlays and booklets should be graded in the same way as record covers and sleeves. In general, the plastic containers for cassettes and CDs can easily be replaced if they are broken or scratched, but card covers and digipaks are subject to the same wear as record sleeves.
