This is the later censored sleeve issue of ’Some Girls’ by The Rolling Stones. This press is undoubtedly rarer than the original issue and replaced the original when the band were threatened with legal action after using images without permission. Subsequently Lucille Ball, Farrah Fawcett, Liza Minnelli, Raquel Welch and Marilyn Monroe were removed from the sleeve and the Pardon Our Appearance text was used in their place. The LP is complete with the original inner and Garrod & Lofthouse die-cut sleeve.

The vinyl is in Excellent condition. There is a sensational jet black gloss, every track gleams. There are no significant signs of play at all, just a small mark on track 3 and a tiny mark at the start of Side 2. The labels are superb, the yellow is exceptionally bold and the black text is immaculate. There is just the very slightest spindle wear.

The glossy inner sleeve is in Excellent condition. The colours are bright and the images are sharp. There is a small scuff on the bottom edge otherwise the edges are firm and the whole sleeve is solid.

The sound quality is Excellent. The vinyl lies completely flat on the turntable and the sound is exceptionally rich and vibrant. There are just a couple of very slight moments of noise, but there is still superb separation and clarity throughout.

The sleeve is in Excellent condition. It is extremely clean and bright. The image is unworn, the cut-outs are sharp and the colours are vivid. There is just the slightest corner wear. The spine is very firm with clear text.
