Description

THE ROLLING STONES - THEIR SATANIC MAJESTIES REQUEST
VERY HARD TO FIND ORIGINAL 1967 MONO PRESSING IN 3D GATEFOLD SLEEVE WITH UNBOXED DECCA LIGHT BLUE LABELS WITH ORIGINAL RED PATTERNED INNER SLEEVE MATRIX NUMBERS: ARL 8126 1P ARL 8127 P1 THIS IS AN INCREASINGLY DIFFICULT ALBUM TO FIND!!
THE 3D GATEFOLD SLEEVE IS GRADED AS VG; THERE IS SOME AGE RELATED WEAR TO EDGES AND CORNERS AND A SMALL AMOUNT OF COLOUR FADE; THE 3D FRONT COVER IS STRONG WITH NO OBVIOUS SIGNS OF DAMAGE; THE SPINE IS VERY STRONG AND CLEAN WITH THE PRINTING VERY CLEAR
THE RED PATTERNED INNER SLEEVE HAS SOME MILD CREASING FROM INCORRECT STORAGE AND THERE ARE A COUPLE OF SMALL TEARS AROUND THE OPENING EDGE, BUT VERY SMALL AND IS GRADED AS VG
THE VINYL DISC IS GRADED AS GD, DUE TO A COUPLE OF VISIBLE SURFACE SCRATCHES AND SOME OTHER SCUFFING; IN MY OPINION, THE SCRATCHES WOULD HAVE A SMALL IMPACT ON THE SOUND QUALITY
CatNo: TXL 103
After some bad experiences of shipping to the Russian Federation, I have decided not to sell to bidders from this territory unless they contact me before the end of the auction.
My postage costs are for standard Royal Mail 2nd Class delivery. If you want tracked, signed or insured, please let me know before paying, as I will need to calculate final cost.
Check out my other auctions. I'm selling around 100 classic albums over the next few weeks, including Rolling Stones, The Who, Iron Maiden, Deep Purple, Metallica, Black Sabbath and more...
I visually grade all my records individually
I use Record Collector Grading:
Mint (M) The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet. booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records marked as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint. Excellent (EX) The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. Very Good (VG) The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects is acceptable Good (G) Te record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc Fair (F) The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced. Poor (P) The record will not play properly due to scratched, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing Bad (B) The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler
