Description

Here we have for sale The Rolling Stones - The Rolling Stones released in mono in 1964 on the Decca label.
The matrix numbers are;
XARL-6271-1A XARL-6272-5A

This is in lovely condition as shown in the photos - the vinyl has been ultrasonically cleaned in our amazing Degritter and has come up shiny & black with some hairlines and fine scuffs visible on both sides which do not affect playback. There is no feelable damage.
As always we played it to test. The sound quality was really enjoyable as these old monos often are - bold, clean sound with some low noise in parts as to be expected for vinyl of this age. No jumping, sticking or loud pops. The vinyl sits flat and has clean labels and spindle holes - see photos. The KT tax code is printed below the ear on both sides.
The laminated front sleeve has survived the years well with only minor creasing and slight ringwear but still  glossy and smooth. Spine still intact and readable. The rear is slightly discoloured from age and there is a name and address written near the top which we have obscured to maintain privacy. Otherwise clean and free from stains or tears.
The original poly lined sleeve is present - to keep the record pristine after cleaning we have popped it into a new anti static poly lined sleeve - you will receive both.

Overall a lovely first copy in fully cleaned & tested condition ready to pop straight onto your turntable & enjoy!
