Description
This is a fairly scarce 1977 pressing of The Rolling Stones "Black and Blue" LP on BLUE VINYL, a STERLING MASTER pressing for premium sound quality, and it sounds AWESOME! The gatefold cover is in nice shape with some slight corner rounding from its 40+ years of life, NO splitting, a great legible spine, with no discernable ring wear and nice edges, but there is a name written on the back, above the lips logo, and on each sides label. The vinyl, wrapped in the original credit sleeve with an original PEACHES sleeve inside. It also comes with the LYRIC INSERT. The vinyl is a nice blue with a hint of swirl in it, and sounds great, BUT, there is a light mark across "Fool To Cry" and "Crazy Mama" that makes a sound as it sweeps across the end of "Crazy Mama", after the song has ended as it enters the dead wax. I really didn't hear it during the song itself, or in "Fool To Cry", which, being a bit of a quieter song, would have been easily heard. So, other than that, the vinyl is in an easy VG++ shape. NO SKIPS! They did an incredible job on the (STERLING) mastering of this, it jumps out of the speakers, sounding much better than another copy of this album I have. Any questions, send me a message. All in all, this is a really nice copy of one of the Stones mid 70's classics. Though I'm putting this up as an auction at a higher starting amount, thats because I HATE using a reserve price, I don't think it's a very fair system. We will certainly take this back and refund the purchase price if it isn't acceptable to the buyer. Thanks for looking!
