Description
THE ROLLING STONES
No 2
1965 UK MONO LP
UK DECCA RECORDS FIRST PRESS.
This Stones album is the the UK Decca Records Mono first press and and laminated flipback sleeve. The album has the much fuller Mono mix and I can see why this is the sought after issue. The vinyl plays a strong VG++ and sounds really good~~I don't think you will be disappointed. The sleeve notes are by Andrew Oldam and have the notorious 'blind man' credit.
Issue Year~1965
Cat No~ LK 4661
Matrix No~1A ~ 2A first press
Issue~UK original
OVERALL CONDITION
SLEEVE~VG
(some light ringwear + 4 pen marks (ticks) beside track listing~~ but complete with no tears)
VINYL~VG+
In strong light probably looks about a strong VG+ (spindle marks + some light marks)~~~~BUT~~~I have listened to the LP on offer and it plays much better than this and to my ears sounds great!!!
GRADING I grade records firstly visually and sample aurally for overall sound quality. Should you feel I have misgraded please remember that I offer a full NO QUIBBLE refund or agreed price reduction if I am off the mark.
NEAR MINT (NM)~~a top copy~audio listening and visual grading has not revealed any imperfections. Lp is guaranteed to sound superb and shows very little sign of playing.
NEAR EXCELLENT (EX or EX+)~~careful visual inspection audio sampling has not revealed any major imperfections such as clicks or skips~~the LP should sound superb and it will be hard to find a better copy. Sleeve and any inserts/inners are in excellent shape. You will not be disappointed.
VG+~~ audio listening has revealed some surface noise or the odd crackle. Visually the Lp may have light scuffs but nothing major though has obviously been played regularly. Sleeve might have light creases or ringwear. The Lp and sleeve will be fine until a better copy comes along.
Remember this is NOT a mint or excellent condition album.
STILL PERFECTLY PLAYABLE AND STILL AN ACCEPTABLE SOUND!!
VG~~not great and will have spindle wear, surface noise and crackles but I will flag up this grading rarely. However, NO deep felt scratches and it should track OK on your deck. This will do till a better copy comes along but is probably worth it for rarity value. some tracks will sound better than others.
PLEASE BID ACCORDINGLY.
Postage ~~orders over £25 will be sent registered in the UK and INTERNATIONAL SIGNED FOR or TRACKED (where available) world wide. It costs a bit extra but I am sure you will agree it is worth it.
Postage discount will be applied to 2 or more purchases.
